Historic Hotel Bethlehem is now hiring for a hospitable part-time Banquet Bartender and Set Up (Houseman) Associate.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions 

Historic Hotel Bethlehem has invested in the Reme Halo Air Purification System throughout the entire Hotel in order to add an extra layer of protection for associates and guests. 

All associates and guests must wear masks. Personal Protective Equipment (masks, gloves, sanitizer, cleaning supplies, etc.) are provided for all associates. We also conduct required daily temperature screenings for all associates. 

Must have weekend availability.

Job Type: Part-time and Full-time positions available 

Salary: $7.00/hour – when working as a Bartender this is a tipped position as well

$10.00/hour when working as a Houseman/Set Up Associate 


Performs banquet bartender/houseman duties for business and formal events within the standards set forth by Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Banquet Houseman sets up and breaks down event tables and chairs, and preps the room for each event. Banquet Bartender serves guests beverages during events. 


· Set up and bartending experience preferred

· RAMP Certified

· Strong customer service orientation

· Strong listening skills and patience

· Ability to interact well with people in a professional and courteous manner


Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in English. Proficiency in Open Table is a must. Excellent hospitality skills. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends and holidays.

There will be a pre-employment drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check. Previous employment will be verified and references will be thoroughly checked.

Must be able to stand for duration of shift and lift tables and chairs. Must also be able to push and pull 30-50 lbs.
